We’ve been geeking out over our latest Audience Intelligence Reports which rolled out to our clients over the last two weeks. Separate from our monthly digital marketing reports, these insights dive deeper into the behaviours of the people engaging with our clients’ brands. This helps us better understand their audiences and allows us to create more personalised and effective content. We deliver these reports on a quarterly basis to ensure we have a robust dataset to inform our strategies.
What does our Audience Intelligence Report look like? It’s a comprehensive analysis that identifies patterns in audience behaviour, highlighting everything from demographic shifts to platform-specific trends. Whether it’s refining our ad placements or adjusting our content tone, this report provides us with the insights needed to continuously enhance the digital experience for both brands and their audiences.

Top 3 insights from last quarter
We’ve analysed the data from the past three months, and here are three key takeaways that stand out:
1. Older males are most active on Facebook
We’ve noticed an uptick in engagement from males aged 30 and above on Facebook. This group now accounts for 44% of organic interactions with our clients’ accounts.
What’s interesting is that while this demographic is highly engaged with brand content, women tend to interact more with their personal connections and within Facebook Groups.
2. Dynamic Ads dominate Facebook Marketplace
Why wouldn’t you try and catch users when they have even just a hint of buying intent? Marketplace is the leading placement for brands running dynamic ads.
Dynamic ads are highly effective because they target users based on their browsing history and intent, making them more likely to convert. It’s always reassuring when the data backs up what feels like common sense – it proves that catching users when they’re in a buying mindset really works.
3. Give Reddit Ads a chance
While Reddit may not be the first platform that comes to mind for digital advertising, we’ve found it to be a hidden gem in 2024. Our experimentation with Reddit Ads has delivered promising results. The platform’s unique advantage lies in its ability to target users based on the specific communities and topics they’re engaging with. Whether it’s a niche hobby or a trending discussion, Reddit’s highly targeted approach allows for tailored messaging that resonates. Plus, its relatively low cost-per-click makes it an affordable way to drive new traffic to your website while expanding your audience reach.
These insights are just the tip of the iceberg. The data we gather from our Audience Intelligence Reports not only helps us optimise current campaigns but also informs long-term strategic decisions for our clients.
